Order Reports > Product Totals (Includes Regional Level Sales Summaries)
The following article covers the 'Product Totals' report. This report includes a row per product and can optionally include a column per rep or region [chain]. Quantities, prices, discounts, and number of accounts per chain can all be included.
Before running any report you must select the companies and corresponding orders you want to report on via Reports > Orders. Click here for instructions.
Once your orders have been selected, from the 'Report Options' tab choose 'Product Totals':
Then select the information you want included on your report.
Options include:
- Data to Include: Quantities, Prices, Discounts, # of Accounts
- Grouped By: All Products, Reps, or Regionals*
- Order History: New Orders Only, Re-Orders Only, or All Orders
- Units to Include: Select your desired Unit Types. Most companies have Each & Case. Your company may have Master Case, Pallet, or some other type.
- Combine Units: Yes/No allows you to combine the totals for all Unit Types you included above e.g. Each & Case. This is used when you want to see the total combined sales (Prices) and promotions (Discounts) applied.
- Include Zero Quantity Rows: Yes/No
- Additional Fields to Include: UPC or [Product] Folders
- Subtotal by Folders: Yes/No
- Filter By: All Products, Selected Products (product selection box appears), All except Selected Products (product selection box appears), Selected Folders (folder selection box appears), All except Selected Folders (folder selection box appears)
- Include Inactive Products: Yes/No
- Filter by Promotions: No Filter - Include All Lines, Only Lines with Selected Promotions (promotions selection box appears), Only Lines without Selected Promotions (promotions selection box appears)
Your report will appear on the 'Reports' tab. Click 'Export' to download your report into Excel:
Click 'View Graph' to view a graph of your report within TurnLink:
* When 'Group By' = 'Reps' is selected there is a column per rep on the report.
Likewise, when 'Group By' = 'Regionals' is selected there is a column per Region. This is a powerful regional level sales summary report:
Note: Regional Relationships must be properly setup to ensure report accuracy. Click here for additional information.
All companies without a Regional Relationship will be combined and listed in the 'Independents' column.
Saving Your Report
If this is a report you plan to run often you can save your settings on the 'Reports Options' tab by clicking the menu icon to the top right of the screen and selecting 'Save Report Settings':
On the following screen name your report and click 'Submit':
Saved reports will be listed in the 'Saved Reports' dropdown menu:
