Tags
Tags function as unique labels you can assign to companies. They are searchable and reportable and can therefore help you to analyze your database and take actions based on your objectives.
Tags are created by your TurnLink administrator* and can be applied by all users from within a Company Overview. You may apply more than one Tag to a company to help categorize/group companies together. Things like company type, rank, territory, and other important information can be conveyed with Tags.
To add a Tag to a company simply click the 'add' button under the Tag section:
To delete a Tag, click on it, then click the menu icon and select 'Remove':
The Primary Tag, which also functions as a QuickBooks Customer Type if applicable, should be applied via Modify > Type & Address:
Secondary Tags can be added via the Modify Menu as well:
You can also assign/unassign both Primary and Secondary Tags in batch via Advanced Search. Enter the search criteria needed to get your desired company list then Push Results To > Tag Assignment:
