Promotion Templates and Tag Glossary
You can also create your own template if you wish to export promotions into a branded, broker friendly format that differs from our out-of-the-box Excel exports. You can use most of Excel’s formatting options to highlight rows, draw borders, add logos, and customize the look and feel of your document while crafting your template.
- Create an Excel template for your desired export format and save as a Microsoft Excel 97-2003 Workbook (.xls) file.
- Add the file as collateral of type ‘Promotion Template’ to TurnLink via Setup > Collateral, where you will name the collateral.
- In Reports > Promotions, when ready to export a promotional form, filter your promotional schedule and then select the template to use.

Promotion Template Tag Glossary
To create a working Products Carried Template you will need to create a Microsoft Excel 97-2003 Workbook (.xls) with a worksheet to be used as your template. TurnLink will look for a tab with one of the following names: ‘Template’ ‘Template,oneRow’ ‘Template,oneSheet’ ‘Template,oneRow,oneSheet’
