Account Setup : MapMyStores Configuration (Store Locator)
Logged into TurnLink as an Admin, go to Setup > MapMyStores, click the menu icon to the left of the MapMyStores occurrence you want to configure and select 'Edit':
The following preferences and configuration options are available:
- Website Address: Website where map will be displayed. This is also used for security so the iframe which outputs the MapMyStores instance must be hosted on the domain you use in this field or it will not work.
- Administrative Email Address: Email recipient for the 'Suggested Store Form' if enabled (below).
- Company or Brand Name: MapMyStores supports the ability to have more than one website displaying MapMyStores output with different results depending on which website (e.g. product line/brand) is requesting the data. Enter the applicable brand name here.
- Text Displayed On All Pages
- Text Displayed Before Search
- Text Displayed if No Search Results
- Font Size
- Skin Color: HTML*
- Icon Color: HTML*
- Font Color: HTML*
- CSS Override URL**: All elements on the MapMyStores Google map implementation have class names that are styled in our common css files. If you wish to override any classes, you can create your own CSS file and host it wherever you desire and add the URL to this setup preference.
** For example you can add .not-carried {display:none} to a file you host at www.yoursite.com/css/mapmystores_custom.css and then update your CSS Override URL on Setup > MapMyStores to that location (https://www.yoursite.com/css/mapmystores_custom.css) and this would hide all stores from the list if they do not carry a certain product once it has been selected in the 'Product Filters' by a user.

In Setup > MapMyStores > Edit set 'Always Output Store if this Product is Carried' to the product you created and assigned:
- Product(s) to not Display even if Carried: Select products that should not be output in the MapMyStores search or store information (e.g. shippers).
- Product Folders: Select folders a store MUST carry a product from in order to appear in results. Leave blank to not filter by folder.
- Products: Select products a store MUST carry one of in order to appear in results. Do not select any if you do not wish to filter by product.
- Tags: Select tags a store MUST be assigned to in order to appear in results. Do not select any if you do not wish to filter by tags.
- Products Carried Time Filter: Do not display stores if they have not had a Products Carried Audit or Order Event in their record in the last 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year. Select 'None' if you do not wish to filter by Events.
- Radius Options (*Indicates Default): Determines number of miles for search radius.
- Company Name, Show Characters Before: We recommend you use a colon as this is how TurnLink identifies regional relationships and has additional functionality if syncing with QuickBooks. E.G. only the text to the left of the colon will appear in your store locator search results (New Leaf:San Jose returns New Leaf) so it has a clean feel for the consumer.
- Display Company Specific MapMyStores Note: Yes/No. Notes can be added from within a company's Modify Menu > MapMyStores Details.
- Allow Search Results To Be Emailed: Yes/No
- Display Suggested Store Form: Yes/No
- Suggest Store Form Text
- Starting Zip Code: enter zip code to start map there, 'auto' = start map at users location, blank = North America map.
You can click the menu icon to the left of the MapMyStores occurrence and select 'Preview' to preview your map.
