Modify Menu
Clicking on the 'Modify' drop down button in the Company Overview brings up a menu with four main sections:
1. Navigation:
- MapMyStores: Here you can turn your MapMyStores store locator On or Off and assign it a physical location if it doesn't already have one. If 'MapMyStores Pin' has a "!" warning next to it the store could not be geolocated, likely due to a typo in the address which you should fix. If, however, our geolocation failed to find it and it's a correct address you can click on the "!" and manually assign it a location.
- Find Companies Nearby: Clicking this will bring up a map with all stores near the company you are in that are also in TurnLink.
- Inactivate: Allows you to inactivate an account. This does not delete the account, no accounts are ever truly deleted to preserve historical data but inactivated accounts must be reactivated to appear in your TurnLink account. If a store closes we recommend you append their name with 'closed' rather than inactivate them so that their history is still active for reporting purposes.
- Merge: administrative level users can merge an account in the case of an accidental duplicate. Click Here for more information on merging.
- Name, Address, and Type: allows you to edit a company's Type, Primary Tag, Name, Abbreviation, Address, Phone, Fax, Email, and Web Site. Pre-defined Company Types include:
- Customer
- Prospect
- Distributor
- Outside Sales
- Regional
- None
- Social Media: allows you to link to a company's Facebook, Twitter Instagram etc.
- Order options: allows you to securely store a company's credit card information and set defaults for:
- Shipping Methods
- Terms
- Primary Distributor
- Primary Rep
- Sales Tax
- Shipping Address: allows you to add a separate shipping address vs the billing address.
- General Comment: is where you can make comments for the company such as delivery dates.
- MapMyStore Details: is where you can add comments that will appear in your consumer's MapMyStores locator search results. This is often used to list a store's hours.
4. Company Attributes:
